Binding is Hardcover . Second Edition. Bound in blueish-green cloth, 7.75" x 5.25", 112 pages. CONDITION: The binding of the book has some dark pencil lines in the gutters (near the spine); otherwise, the book is in Good+ condition with some light soiling on the covers (fingerprints). The front free endpaper has a former owner's name and date, "Conrad Komorowski / 29 : x : 29" (Komorowski was a well-known Detroit Communist and member of the John Reed Society). Also there are some neat, light pencil notes on the rear paste-down endpapers. No other markings. Tight and intact. #010918

First Edition . Binding is Hardcover . 7.75" x 5.25", 135 pages. Bound in black boards with paste-on labels on the front cover and spine. Deckled fore-edge and bottom edge. CONDITION: The book is in Near Very Good condition. The front board (cover) is bumped along the top edge, the lower fore-edge corners are bumped and both sets of fore-edge corners show wear and there is also some rubbing to the edges of the binding. The front free endpaper has a former owner's name and date, "Conrad Komorowski / Friday April 10, 1925" (Komorowski was a well-known Detroit Communist and member of the John Reed Society) and one other name in pencil that is less legible. Light soiling to the top edge (from dust). The hinges are nice and the interior is clean with the exception of the names on the front free endpaper. Tight and intact. CONDITION: The book is in Near Very Good condition. The spine has started to roll (see the top edge photograph). Previous owner inscription in a neat hand on the endpaper, "-- J H -- / Camb / 1886". Some wear to the top and bottom of the spine, and the fore-edge of the back board. The bottom fore-edge corner of the back board has a some water damage, but the interior is not affected.
