Dodd, Lee Wilson A Modern Alchemist and Other Poems Boston: Richard G. Badger / The Gorham Press, 1906 First Edition . Binding is Hardcover . 7.75" x 5.25", 135 pages. Bound in black boards with paste-on labels on the front cover and spine. Deckled fore-edge and bottom edge. CONDITION: The book is in Near Very Good condition. The front board (cover) is bumped along the top edge, the lower fore-edge corners are bumped and both sets of fore-edge corners show wear and there is also some rubbing to the edges of the binding. The front free endpaper has a former owner's name and date, "Conrad Komorowski / Friday April 10, 1925" (Komorowski was a well-known Detroit Communist and member of the John Reed Society) and one other name in pencil that is less legible. Light soiling to the top edge (from dust). The hinges are nice and the interior is clean with the exception of the names on the front free endpaper. Tight and intact.
